Kirsten is an authentic, non-traditional, yoga teacher, recognized for her aptitude to communicate a yoga-like experience without the yoga talk. She unites people as she invites you to challenge your physical being with her special blend of yoga poses in her online classes. This is why it is called KOGA (Kirsten’s Yoga).
Kirsten is the founder of KOGA, an online spexercise (special exercise) community that inspires mental and physical health through her Facebook LIVE classes.
Today, Kirsten has over 25 years of recognizing and teaching the physical and mental benefits of yoga in a class, but now she has shifted her focus to KOGA online to reach beyond the studio with practical health practices that anyone can follow to live a healthy and active lifestyle in the judgment free space of their home.
It’s time for you to check out something new. Visit Koga – Kirsten’s Yoga on Facebook during her next online class.
Coming from a family of four boys I was fortunate that my parents deeply invested in our participation in as many athletic activities as possible. Not for scholarship opportunities just to tire us out! This began my relationship with athletics and thus with fitness and I played competitive sports into my late teens until my interest waned and I took a sabbatical from athletics. In my late twenties, big life-changing events like marriage and children compelled me to re-engage with fitness and to make it a priority in my life again.
Today, with over 25 certified years (AFAA, NASM, Spinning, yoga), studying kinesiology, instructing group fitness at industry leading companies like Equinox, Lifetime Fitness, Washington Sports Clubs, personal training, and 15 years of training and participating in triathlons, I can say that have invested myself in learning how the body works and how to train it to function better.
I'd like to help you.
